Photoshop HW 2

This image brought me some strong emotions due to the age of the kid. The kid is just a young girl, and she doesn't have a father currently in her life due to immigration. Although i have never experienced this myself, it is heartbreaking to see happen to other people, especially at such a young age. The emotion this image portrays is that of sadness and pity for the situation this girl is in. The image does a fantastic job at getting the message they are trying to portray across in simple ways. 

The connection to both the world and other people is very present here. The connection to other people is more obvious by just looking at the picture as you can see I'm with another person in the picture. But the picture also shows a connection to other people through my need of another person to help me in the situation I was in.

The connection to the world is also very prevalent in this image because I was experiencing a lot of pain due to my ankle being crushed between a car and the road. The world and everything around me had thrown me into a situation I was not expecting to be in. This can also be shown through be sitting in a bed in the ER.
